Hello,

Thanks for this question.

All the web services we provide together with the Pix-Star are developped 100% " in house " (developed and maintain by Pix-Star)

We've developed all these "connectors" for accessing pictures from Picasa, Facebook, Shutterfly, FlickR, etc… by ourselves and we maintain them "in house". We are this way totally independent of any third party that could decide on its own to change the service, its price and could also stop at any moment.

In the past, on previous products version, when Framechannel service was still live, we provided the possibility to connect also to Framechannel services. This was made with the idea to offer a CHOICE to our users so that they can choose between using Pix-Star web services or Framechannel's.

As Framechannel has now stopped there service we've removed this option now.

The Pix-Star Team.

I'm reading FrameChannel is shutting down. How will this affect the options to get photos to the frame from photo sharing sites or the rss or news/weather etc.?

Will all of this be unavailable?
What options remain for getting photos to the frame via wifi?
