How to configure Pix-Star to start with a specific slideshow?

Pix-Star works in an automatic mode when displaying slide shows. It memorizes the last slideshow played by the user and it will always attempt to display the previous slide show, either automatically from the menu or when you switch on the device.

So, for instance, if you want Pix-Star to play a slide show stored on a USB drive or SD card, simply connect it. Start the SD card slide show, wait for the first picture to display and you are good to go!

On your next slide show, it will first attempt to play the previous slide show. If it cannot be found (maybe because you removed the SD card or USB stick), then Pix-Star will automatically switch to the default slide show (which is the one in the internal memory called “inbox”).

It is very easy, automatic and requires no configuration.

  1. Steven Renders says:

This doesn’t seem to be the behaviour on my pixstar.
I would like to have it always start with ‘all web albums’ or mixed mode.

When the device is switched on, it alsways takes the default setting as configured on the website. And there, you can not select ‘all web albums’ as default.

I’ve updated the firmware today so I’m runing the latest version.
